Project Schedule Management (Programme)

Project Schedule Management gives you a unified view of your program timelines by integrating with P6 and Deep Space to track tasks, assign actions, and keep your delivery on schedule.

The Programme Management app gives you a unified, interactive view of your project timelines — whether you're working directly in Deep Space or syncing with Primavera P6. It’s built to help you manage multiple project schedules, track delays, assign actions, and keep everyone accountable in real time.

What You Can Do

  • Import schedules from Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project (.XML) for immediate visibility.

  • Use the Gantt chart to track progress, dependencies, and deadlines.

  • Sync P6 schedules into Deep Space Actions, enabling field teams to interact with tasks via the “My Actions” interface.

  • Monitor progress using dashboards and snapshots, and easily compare updated data over time.

  • Assign tasks and get notifications so everyone knows what’s due, by who, and when.

Working in a Hybrid P6 + Deep Space Environment

When using Primavera P6 as your primary schedule engine:

  • Tasks from P6 are imported into Deep Space, including dependencies, WBS, and resource links.

  • P6 tasks do not include Assignees — once synced, you can set the Assignee in Deep Space so that task notifications and “My Actions” features work properly.

  • Fields like Assignee, Comments, Watchers, Estimated Dates, and non-P6 associations are preserved during updates. Other fields are refreshed from the latest P6 XML import.

Example Workflow

  1. The project team uploads a P6 XML file into the Programme app.

  2. Deep Space captures the WBS, dependencies, and resources, and creates corresponding action tasks.

  3. The PM assigns Assignees in Deep Space to trigger email alerts and My Actions tracking.

  4. Updates are made in either P6 or Deep Space, depending on the workflow, with key user-specific fields remaining intact on refresh.

  5. Teams monitor status using dashboards, overdue task filters, and Quick Insights to keep the program on track.

With Programme Management, you get the best of both worlds — a robust scheduling engine like P6, and a live, actionable layer in Deep Space that drives delivery and accountability on the ground.
