How to Upload Files to Deep Space
Upload predefined data types into Deep Space via our API
Deep Space has a growing set of integrations via an "Upload file" method to support native export file formats from a number of programs such as P6 or Microsoft Project. Visit the Integrations page for API-based integrations instead.
The "File Uploader" button is available in the top menu of apps, and will default to the upload option related to the current app.
Choose the upload type, and select other options as prompted by the menu. Each upload type will have different options.
When you click submit, the file will be parsed and if in the correct format, uploaded to Deep Space based on a predefined set of data mappings.
If your project has unique requirements and needs custom data mappings for an existing integration (eg. You may use a custom field in P6 as your task ID instead of the built-in value), contact support to set up a custom configuration.
