How to Quickly Set Up Deep Space Project Files from a Federated Model on BIM 360
Take a Large Revit Dataset and Create it on Deep Space
Here's how:
-
Export only the Federated model (not the link files) to Deep Space - this will stil capture all the linked BIM 360 Ids
-
Export file list using this Deep Space Automation:
"Create List of Files from Revit Links" -
Import the resulting Excel into SourceFiles table with Deep Space MySQL Connector
Now you have both the file name and the BIM 360 file Ids all stored in the system.
You could optionally use the automation:
"Deep Space BIM 360 Backup Tool V2" to download and rename all your BIM 360 files with natural filenames.
