How to Configure Company Induction Status in Contractor Management

To configure company induction status in Deep Space, go to DS Site Admin, link your induction form, select the ABN and status fields, and save the setup. The induction status will then appear in the My Companies list, based on submitted forms.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Deep Space Company Management platform
  2. Go to the DS Site Admin Make sure you have the DS Site Admin integration configured first. See this support article for help: How to Configure DS Site Admin Functionality with Deep Space

  3. Click Configure for the Company Induction Form option
  4. Search for the DS Site form in your channel that you use for company inductions, then click Select

  5. First, choose the field from your form, that contains the ABN value for a company.
    > Note: If your company induction form does not contain an ABN field, then it is ineligible for this automation. Please contact support with questions.
  6. Secondly, choose which method you want to use to calculate company induction status (form submitted or custom field). Use custom field if you have a field such as “Approved/Rejected”. Otherwise, you can consider all submitted company induction forms as approved.
  7. Click Save Configuration to complete the set up.
  8. If successfully set up, you will then see Current Configuration which shows the field aliases you picked. If you made a mistake, or you update your form in future, you can click Update Configuration and follow these steps again.
  9. Now, when you go to My Companies, you will see a new column showing Induction Status which is computed based on the form submissions. You can click on the status to view the corresponding form submission.
      • Note: you may have to reload the page, if you just set up the configuration
      • Note: if you have a large number of companies, this column may take a few seconds to load

     

    Troubleshooting:

    • If your form submissions are not mapping to companies correctly, the ABN field may contain invalid values such as spaces, etc.
    • If your form structure updates in DS Site, changing the selected fields, you will need to reconfigure.
