How to create and manage Revit federated models for best results

Troubleshooting when Different Project Origins in Use

  1. Nominate a host model internal origin and relationship with link files as baseline. (Also aligns with room / zoning file)

  2. Duplicate working host models for Deep Space uploads

  3. Manually move all linked files within duplicated host models (for Deep Space purposes) to align with internal origin relationship as per host model in (1)

  4. Synchronise the new host models with Deep Space (and remove the old ones from the scheduler)

  5. Synchronise the zoning (spatial awareness) file
